#1 RYAN TAN

Producer | Director | Choreographer

Ryan Tan has been active in the Singapore dance industry for 18 years, and is a highly respected and sought after performer and dance educator. In recent years, he has emerged also as a Producer, Director and Choreographer .
Beyond his role as Artistic and Creative Advisor of O School Ltd, a world-renowned Urban Dance centre in Singapore, he has been engaged to choreograph and direct various significant regional and local events.

Events such as, the 28th and 27th S.E.A. Games Opening Ceremony (2013,2015), Merlion’s 40th Anniversary Celebration (2012), National Day Parade (2010, 2011) and the Youth Olympic Games Opening and Closing Ceremony (2010). He has also been invited for two consecutive years to choreograph for the prestigious ‘So You Think You Can Dance – Vietnam’ (2013, 2014) .

Also an industry leader and entrepreneur, he established The Royal Dance-Off (TRDO) since 2011, Singapore’s First-of-its-Kind Youth Contemporary Dance Platform. TRDO initially started as a Contemporary Dance competition for youths, in recent years, TRDO is becoming a medium where dance is used as a tool to create social change .

Amongst his many contributions, Ryan Tan continues to spearhead and direct many large-scale productions, and continues to share his passion for dance through regular Open Classes at O School .
Most recently, he was engaged as a judge for “The Dance Floor” – Singapore’s biggest dance competition airing this year-end on Channel 5.

#2 DAVIT FITRIK
Dancer | Teacher | Choreographer

Born in Padang, West Sumatera. Davit was first introduced to dance during his teenage years in Padang, he received intensive training under the guidance of Vivery Yusdianto. In 1994, Davit was recruited by Gusmiati Suid to be a full-time dancer in The Gumarang Sakti Dance Company. He was trained extensively by renowned choreographers such as Hartati, Benny Krisnawardi and Boi G Sakti.

As the result of his determination and great talent, he became the principal dancer in the company. Furthermore, he was the trainer for the next generation of dancers in the company, and also the representative to introduce the methodology of Gumarang Sakti Dance through workshops in Indonesia and abroad.

After gaining experience with the company, he continued to be an independence dancer, teacher, and choreographer. His achievements including:
• Choreographer at R.e.p 2014 RawMoves, Singapore, entitled Eat With Us.
• Choreographer for Hari Pariwisata Dunia (World Tourism Day) #1 in Jakarta.
• Teaching a masterclass at Indonesia Dance Festival (IDF) 2014.
• Choreographer for NUS Arts Festival 2012 – Solo Duet, with T.H.E Dance Company, entitled Saya Bukan Saya. • Collaboration with Katia Engel Germany/Indonesia at Indonesia Dance Festival (IDF) 2012, entitled Tanah Air.

He is currently the director of The School of Movement (SOM), based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

#3 JESSICA CHRISTINA
Dancer | Teacher | Choreographer
Jessica is a former full-time dancer with T.H.E Dance Company, a leading contemporary dance company in Singapore under Artistic Director, Kuik Swee Boon. She has performed in various dance platforms in Singapore as well as international dance festivals abroad including in Denmark, Italy, France, Korea, China, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Besides pursuing her career as a professional dancer, she continued sharing her passion and knowledge through teaching and choreographing. She taught regular classes in O School and T.H.E Open Class, conducted workshops, and choreographed for several dance productions.

Prior to her dance journey, she graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts Singapore with Diploma in Dance. Before her studies, she has completed Advanced 2 Vocational Examinations and Higher Grades Examinations of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) .
After seven fulfilling years in Singapore, Jessica is now back to her home country Indonesia. She is an independent dancer / teacher / choreographer who hopes to share her knowledge and experience in dance, thus able to inspire young dancers in Indonesia and internationally.

Her latest achievements including :
• Choreographed ‘Let Us Entertain You’, presented at TRDO ACT 2 by The Royal Dance-Off Company, Singapore.
• Choreographed and performed ‘Noted With Thanks’, presented at M1 Contact Festival 2014 in National Museum of Singapore, a collaboration work with Yarra Ileto, Sheriden Newman, and Wang Wei Wei.
• Judge at The Royal Dance-Off 2013 (Singapore), The Royal Dance-Off 2014 (Singapore), and at Dance Prix Indonesia 2015 .
